Connecting Rainforest Communities: A Green Vision for the Future

The documentary ‘Connecting Rainforests, Communities & Livelihoods’, a collaboration with the Franklinia Foundation, Dilmah Tea, Kahawatte Plantations and Rajarata University, premiered this week. It told the inspiring story of the Endane Nature Corridor, where an abandoned tea garden was rewilded to reconnect fragmented forests and help biodiversity thrive. The event held at Genesis by Dilmah brought together conservationists, academics, policymakers, and business leaders in a dynamic exchange on how to integrate biodiversity conservation with sustainable development.
