After rigorous evaluations in creative tea concepts, techniques infusing tea with other ingredients and spirits as well as tea-inspired gastronomic pairings, 12 outstanding teams emerged finalists. The grand finale took place at the JW Marriott Hotel in Shanghai Fengxian, with the judging by Dilhan C. Fernando, Tea Grower & Chairman / CEO of Dilmah Tea; Stephen Lim, Director of Restaurants & Bars for Marriott International Greater China; Sven Wunram, Culinary Director of Marriott International Greater China; and Ho Hoang Huy, well-known Vietnamese mixologist. Also, in attendance was Roshan Tissaaratchy, Executive Director of Dilmah Tea. Congratulations to all the winning teams and talented sommeliers who redefined tea in fine dining and mixology!
