Dilmah Tea celebrates its Australian roots with 85 Reserve luxury tea range

“In the morning you need something energetic, bright and bold, and that's where the breakfast tea comes in. As the day wears on, maybe green tea with mint, particularly with a meal. Mint is fantastic for digestion. The antioxidants in tea give you a lift and, in the evening, there's nothing like an Earl Grey with a hint of vanilla and maybe a hint of gin if you've had a bad day.”

New orchid species discovered in Walankada Forest Reserve

A rare orchid was discovered at Walankanda Forest Reserve in Ratnapura District where Dilmah is conducting research studies while building a Nature Corridor in an abandoned tea land that will connect said Walankanda Forest Reserve with Iharakanda Forest Reserve. This finding is testament to the biodiversity that exists in the area that is worth preserving. In fact, according to the Principal scientist, Dr. Nalaka Geekiyanage, the Corridor generates an annual ecological wealth of US$ 382,362.
