The Dilmah Conservation Sustainable Agriculture Research Center (DCSARC) in Moratuwa was established to support research on sustainable agriculture using simple technological innovations to enhance the quality of agriculture produce, and promote organic home gardening initiatives by sharing knowledge. Community awareness programmes on organic home gardening such as vertical agriculture are also held at the center with the aim of encouraging wider use of healthy cost-effective and sustainable methods to improve the quality of small-scale agriculture
