Black Tea

Watte Single Estate Somerset Estate Pekoe

Tasting note & Distinctive Features

An estate of 460 hectares, Somerset is located in the Dimbula Valley on the Western slopes of Ceylon’s central ‘Tea Country’. Tea was first grown at Somerset after the failure of coffee in the area.

Reflecting the cool and moist climate of the Talawakelle District, this Somerset Estate Uda Watte is bright, with medium body and a presence that makes it the ideal introduction to the collection of Watte Single Estate Teas.
