In the beginning, The Anjali Aham Centre in Point Pedro became a refuge for communities from Northern Sri Lanka who endured extreme trauma, war, grief & hardship from almost 3 decades of war and devastating Tsunami. Over the years, with the support of MJF Foundation, we have been providing psychosocial support for women and children in the surrounding villages to overcome their emotional and physical distress and get their lives back on track.
