At the 25th worker felicitation awards ceremony, I got the opportunity to listen to an inspiring speech by The Magistrate of Jaffna - Peter Paul, who was once a boy from the plantations, recognised and supported by MJF Foundation’s Scholarship Programme. The way MJF shares his kindness and privilege to improve the lives of others in the community and beyond is admirable. The Company also supports the non-executive staff and their families in many ways. I joined Dilmah in May 1993 as a supervisor in Tea Stores. Over the last10 years, I have been serving as a supervisor in the Production Unit and was recently transferred to the Material Stores. Thanks to Dilmah, I have been able to lead a fulfilling life with my family.
