Dear Mr. Fernando,
First of all, my wife Marian and I would like to thank you for the invitation to join in celebrating your 90th Birthday. We are so honoured to be your guests.

I recall my very first meeting with you Mr Fernando, way back 43 years ago (in 1977) and the advice and inspiration that you instilled in me that day has remained in me to date.

In the year 2000 once again I had the opportunity to meet up with you and thereafter, each time you came to Melbourne on your business visits I had the privilege to speak with you and get sound advice and directions for whatever the questions I had.

In 2008, was the turning point for me when you Mr Fernando, decided to assist me personally in setting up our very own 3PL company in Melbourne, Asia Pacific Warehousing and Distribution Services Pty Ltd, and granting me the opportunity to manage your entire logistics

operations in Australia. I am forever grateful for your support, and the confidence you placed in me. I still remember you saying “I am entrusting you the entire Logistics Operation for Dilmah Australia Pty Ltd, therefore do not let me down” and I gave you a firm commitment that day, and to date I have not let you down.

Today, my success in the business growth has been the result of your dedicated assistance and encouragement also not forgetting the divine intervention that we both base our trust in the Lord Jesus that has helped me in my accomplishments and I believe yours too.

Words can neither qualify nor quantify how helpful your guidance, advice and the personal assistance have been to me which I shall cherish.
